The school offers several co-curricular activities in the arts including orchestra, band, and choir programs. In addition, LHS offers a drama club and accompanying theater arts classes.
The LHS Orchestra includes three string orchestras with a total of about 150 students. The orchestra is divided mostly by grade level and skill; the Concert Orchestra is made up of freshman, while the Philharmonic Orchestra consists of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. However, the relatively new Chamber Orchestra is audition-based, and consists primarily of juniors and seniors. In 2008 the Concert and Philharmonic orchestras qualified for Utah state-level competition.
LHS has two bands, the lower or symphonic band and the upper or wind band, as well as an extra jazz band class. Unlike the orchestra the bands are not split up by grade but by skill. The Wind Band and Jazz Band go on national trips every other year, visiting cities such as Boston, Chicago, New York, San Diego, and Washington D.C. They also regularly participate in state and regional festivals and competitions.
Logan High School offers 26 student clubs and 17 varsity athletic teams.
